The printer is performing wonderfully now after a brief hiccup during installation. Initially, I encountered a loop issue that prevented access to product support. However, leaving the printer overnight prompted an update notification, which I followed, and it resolved the issue completely. The printer is now working flawlessly, delivering excellent print quality and performance. While the initial setup had its challenges, the printer’s functionality and output quality make it a great choice. I would recommend it, though I believe there is room for improvement in the product support aspect.

The printer’s performance has been impressive overall. However, during the initial installation, I encountered a frustrating issue where the printer seemed stuck in a loop, preventing access to product support. Thankfully, after leaving it overnight, the printer self-detected the need for an update. Following the provided instructions, I successfully completed the update, and the printer is now functioning flawlessly. This experience underscores the importance of allowing devices time to self-correct and following prescribed troubleshooting steps for a smooth setup process.

This printer requires a direct connection to your router via an Ethernet cable or a USB connection to a computer. While the setup process isn’t very intuitive, the printer compensates with impressive speed and high-quality prints. One downside is the declining quality of HP’s customer support. For instance, I encountered an issue with duplex printing, and the customer service rep incorrectly insisted on manual paper insertion for two-sided printing. Despite this hiccup, I remain hopeful that this printer will meet the high standards set by my previous HP printers.
