Highly Configurable Firmware with Extensive Options
The firmware offers a wide range of configuration options. I use it to manage Internet, IPTV, and VoIP services from my home fiber connection and route them to the WAN port of my ASUS WiFi 7 router, specifically the newly released ASUS GT-BE98.

Powerful and Flexible Networking Solution
I am amazed by the power and flexibility of this router! Previously, I experienced occasional drops in network connectivity in my home network, which has 4-6 VLANs routed through 4 access points and several managed switches. Despite having a fiber connection, I had tried various routers and equipment without success.
However, with this router, I took the fiber module from the city gateway and plugged it in. From there, I configured all my VLANs (and more), numerous routing rules, and firewall settings. The router handles it effortlessly, peaking at only 2-3% CPU load. It is incredibly stable and fast, providing full speed everywhere in my home, consistently.
Keep in mind that this router is a significant step up from standard SOHO routers and is more complex to manage. But if you can handle it, it can do everything!
