Enhanced Scalability with airMAX® ac Technology
As next-generation 2×2 MIMO sector antennas from Ubiquiti Networks, airMAX® ac sector antennas feature significantly advanced scalability, noise isolation, and beam efficiency to complement the radio signal of Rocket™5ac devices. They are also compatible with RocketM5 models; however, optimal performance requires the use of Rocket5ac devices.
Resistance to Interference and Innovative Design
Ubiquiti’s airMax ac sector antennas are highly resistant to interference. The innovative deflector design, along with the reduced side and rear lobes, allows you to reject interference from other stations in the area, such as those located on the same mast. The increased Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) allows the use of higher-order modulation, like 256QAM instead of 16QAM, increasing the number of bits per second for a fixed bandwidth (or data transmission).
