airMAX ac Technology
Unlike standard Wi-Fi protocols, airMAX ac uses Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA), eliminating hidden node collisions. This intelligent AP controller maximizes performance, offering gains in throughput over other systems in its class.
airPrism Technology
Enhancing airMAX ac, Ubiquiti introduces patented airPrism technology in the R2AC device. Achieving high data transmission rates demands a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), especially in noisy environments. The integrated airPrism technology creates a high SNR by isolating signals and rejecting interference, resulting in up to 30dB reduction in adjacent channel interference.
